Stamps and Shipping Documents

The Philatelic collection donated by Constantine and Irene Anitsas includes over three thousand stamps with sea themes as well as rare documents such as charters, receipts, agencies, decrees related to the voyage and historical others. The stamps depict ships, islands, ports, people and events that took place at sea all over the world. The stamp is the world’s greatest traveler and illustrator of historical events. The collection organized into chapters is displayed in 12 showcases with five large drawers each.
